In the current era of digital technology, most correspondence is done via email and text. The long tradition of writing cards has fallen by the wayside and with it the beautiful handwriting, elaborately decorated notepaper and matching envelopes. The hobby of writing to pen pals has been replaced my Facebook and MySpace messaging, and instant information age has taken the time previously taken to write a letter.

We must embrace the savings in time and actually use the time saved to do something relaxing, meditative and, well, well.
